Most of northern Myaasia is a barren waste with not much more than snow and ice.

Most of the north was taken up by the Northern Empire, with its capital in Zorim. The lands of the Empire were conquered by the armies of the lich Clagor during the unlife wars and remained in the hands of unlife for over a year, and there are many scattered pockets of unlife there still. Consequently the human and demihuman population there has been almost eradicated. The northernmost town still inhabited by humans is the small settlement of Zosa. The area is mostly dominated by Orcs currently.

Far to the east of the former Empire’s territory lies the small kingdom of Askalon. Though Askalon was attacked by a small detail of Clagor’s army, it was able to repulse the attack at great cost and remains a bastion of life in the northern lands.
